2025 Toyota Corolla FX: This Special Edition Features Reviews

Toyota officially released the Toyota GR Corolla model 2025. This news was officially reported by online media toyotasuvmodels.com; Where in its review the Corolla 2025 Toyota's flagship four-door hot hatch is equipped with several new features both on the exterior and technical that make it even more powerful. 

Exterior changes can be seen from updates to the front bumper. The new fascia features large brake ducts to channel air out of the top of the tires. The interior is almost the same but gets a refresh.

Another change is that the GR Corolla is now equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission that is already used in the GR Yaris. Toyota believes this application is a move that helps broaden the appeal of the GR Corolla. 

The 8-speed transmission known as Gazoo Racing Direct Automatic Transmission (DAT) is different from the gearboxes of the GR Supra and GR 86. The main difference between the DAT gearbox and those of the GR Supra and GR 86 is that it detects brake and accelerator inputs to shift gears accordingly.

Interestingly, the transmission has very similar ratios to the standard 6-speed manual and has a special cooler. Toyota will also offer a sub-radiator for additional cooling as an option on the premium model but as standard on the Premium Plus version.

Apart from the gearbox, Toyota has also made improvements to the engine. The 1.6-liter turbo heart is capable of producing 300 Tk, but the torque is 400 Nm or 295 lb-ft, up from 273 lb-ft previously. Toyota engineers have also improved the suspension. 

The front suspension uses a new spring with better rebound to prevent wheel lift during acceleration. The rear has added stabilizers.
