2023 Ford Edge: Performance Oriented Edge ST

The 2023 Ford Edge and performance-oriented Edge ST added new technologies last year, including a standard 12-inch size centre screen, all-new Sync 4A with connected built-in navigation and cloud connectivity with conversational voice recognition, plus refinements to the Canadian-built crossover’s interior and exterior.

There are no significant changes for 2022.

Performance

The ST features a specially tuned 2.7L twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 pumping out 335 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque on 93 octane. It’s also outfitted for sportier handling with a quick-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission, standard all-wheel drive with selectable traction control, an available performance brake package and ST-tuned sport suspension.

In addition to the ST, Edge is offered in SE, SEL, Titanium and ST-Line trims, the SEL and ST-Line also available with front-wheel drive. These models feature a 250-hp 2.0L EcoBoost four-cylinder with eight-speed automatic and auto stop/start.

Practicality

The 12-inch screen supports multi-tasking, enabled by splitting the screen into larger and smaller windows. All-new cloud connectivity combines conversational voice recognition with the power of Internet-based search results. Sync 4A includes Wi-Fi enabled Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility and Sync AppLink.

Value

Ford has not released 2022 pricing. 2021 models range from $35,899 for the SE to $46,999 for the ST.
